On August 9th I attended the celebrations of Dhammadharini‘s 20th Anniversary, the monastic community founded by Ayya Tathaaloka, who has been preceptor for my own bhikkhuni ordination in 2011.
To my great joy I received the precious gift of Sacred Earth from four ancient Arahant Bhikkhuni stupas in India and Sri Lanka, during a powerful ceremony with about 20 female monastics in attendance.
This special gift of consecrated soil is a wonderful boon for the Aloka Earth Room and I sense the powerful blessings that come with it.
